The beach in front of “Hotel
Troncones Mi Casa Es Su Casa” is called “Playa Troncones” and
runs north and south for over 7 kilometers of unspoiled coastline,
providing plenty of room for sunbathing, surfing, swimming, shell
collecting, and just about anything else you can think of doing
on such a pristine beach.
Family-run seafood restaurants,
guest inns, and a few private homes are interspersed among the natural
beauty of this beach. Whales and dolfins can often be seen, and
sea turtles make their nests here to lay their eggs, which are quickly
collected by local environmentalists for incubation and release.
