From the airport:

The only road from the Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo International Airport leads directly to the Highway - Mex. 200. At the Highway, turn left and head North. First, you will pass through Zihuatanejo then climb the hill overlooking Ixtapa. Continue North through several small towns for about 16 miles (26 kilometers). The Troncones turnoff is marked by signs on both sides of the Highway. Turn left at the signs, and take the short drive to the beach. Turn right and follow the signs to the Inn at Manzanillo Bay.

Rental cars are available at the Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo International Airport from the major agencies such as Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Alamo.

Taxicabs between Troncones, Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo are convenient and comfortable. All taxi drivers are familiar with the Inn at Manzanillo Bay.
